(Tanzania) Kilimanjaro is just only one of mountains.

There are many high mountains in the world. But why am I crazy of Kilimanjaro? I think something is wrong on my mind.

I’ve cycled since 1st Sep 2011. I made a plan to cycle for three or four years before I started. Definitely these days I realize that I will cycle over four years total. It means now I am on the half of the way. I get the pie as a gift for the celebration of two years.
I’ve stayed over two weeks in Arusha which is at the next town of Kilimanjaro. It is weird that I give up climbing Kilimanjaro, and then don’t give up, and then give up, and then don’t give up. The first week in Arusha I ask supporting to many companies. But it is not possible to get a support.
Finally I give up!

I’ve realized that I will never get a support from companies. Any company never answers my asking for a support. So, I make a plan “B”. I will make wordpress website for people and get money from that. I don’t know I will success or not. But it is good to try something anyway.

It is a fruit at the front of the house. The green one is unripe, and the brown one is ripe. The taste is sour.
While I stay in Africa for eight months, I’ve spent around $ 2,000. To climb Kilimanjaro is about $1,300 that I must not climb this mount to see further world.

At the morning while I leave Arusha, I check some tourist companies, because still I want to climb. But the price is so high that I turn around.
I think it will take two days to the Kenyan border.

There is Mountain Meru which is the second highest mount in Tanzania. There are many reasons why I want to climb Kili. One of the reasons is it is the only chance to climb the highest mountain which unprofessional people can climb.

But the reason why I should not climb is money and their horrible service.

Suddenly I realize that Kili is just one of mountains. There are lots of high mountain covered snow. I should not be crazy of only one of them
Mount is just mount. Nature is just nature. But people don’t call Kilimanjaro is jut mountain. People call it the highest mountain in Africa, permanent snow mountain and more. They don’t see it is just one of mountains.
I mean people always put too many things on simple thing and then crazy of those.
I want to stop it.

As I change my though, everything looks so beautiful. I don’t need going only to the highest mountain or some tourist place. Every nature is just a gift.

Just I need the time to realize how amazing every nature is.

I thank that I learn small thing, which is the hardest part.

While I cross the bridge, I see some people live at the cage. I am wondering what they are doing under there.

I made some mistake that I cycled until a bit late yesterday. I found some police station where I could pitch my tent.

Today I will cross the border!

The containers on the tree are for getting honey.

It is endless of the bush. As I am closer to the border, I can see more Masai.

Yeah, there is another mount. But any tourist is never interested about it. People would be hard to realize this mount is the same as Kilimanjaro.
Nature is just nature.

I wanted to talk with them. But it is NOT possible. As they, over ten masai teenagers, close to me, they shout at me aggressively “Money! Money! Money!”
I realize it is dangerous at that moment, because there is no car passing. I try going away with saying “No money”, but they hold my bicycle.
There is no way now. I shout at them aggressively and loudly to show I am angry. Then they let me go.
Tanzania people beg money more than any other country people in Africa in my experience.

But this family is not much aggressive, and I thank that they let me take picture of them.

This is Tanzanian money. There is a cheap five dollars hotel that I decide not to cross the border today. I will do tomorrow morning,
But weird thing happens. I want to go back to Kilimanjaro town to climb Kili!!!!! It is hard to sleep because of too many thoughts.
The next morning I wake up six in the morning and keep thinking. Oh!! It is the hardest part to translate words into action. I am just human being. I persuade myself that it is just the mountain.

Finally I win myself. I cross the Kenyan border! Bye bye Kilimanjaro!
